CNSD Reborn Titan tier list
Buy the cheap titan that works, then grind — not the poster morph.
Titans are the fantasy. They are also how original Combat Noobs Siege Defense emptied wallets. Cosmic’s “Which Titan Should You Buy” video — embedded here — is original-game footage, and it still teaches the only budget rule that matters in CNSD Reborn: buy a cheap titan that can grind, then earn the expensive one. Reborn’s playtest currently documents Dummy Titan and Upgraded Dummy Titan, with Musician, Screen, and Clock titan branches marked TBA. If your shop shows fewer portraits than a 2024 thumbnail, you are in the correct year.
Playtest ranks
S — Dummy Titan (first real titan)
Affordable relative to later morphs, huge hurtbox, presence that lets a 15-player lobby breathe. You become the lane. You also become the person everyone stands inside during your slam. Learn the same binds: melee, block, Awaken, sprint, shiftlock. A titan who cannot block is a large corpse. Details: titan roster.
A — Upgraded Dummy Titan
Sidegrade/upgrade path. Buy it when Dummy Titan already prints coins, not as your first morph. Upgrades that look cosmetic but add armor or splash are A. Upgrades that only change the spawn animation are a poster, not a rank.
B — Screen / Theatre-style titans (when enabled)
Original CNSD made Upgraded Screen Titan a content-creator magnet (Cosmic’s showcase alone is six figures of views). Utility flashes and wide presence are strong in coordinated play and messy in silence. Rank them A the week they ship if the kit still disrupts packs; otherwise they stay B until we see playtest HP.
C — Clock titans and prestige morphs (TBA)
Clock Dummy Titan was the expensive flex in the original. Community comments still argue about 12.5k prices. Until Reborn lists a Clock body in the live shop, it is unranked-for-purchase and C-for-planning. Do not save every coin for a morph that may land after the Playtester badge window closes.
D — Buying any titan broke
If the morph costs your cola money and your respawn money, it is a D-tier decision even if the unit is S-tier on paper. Wave 25 does not care about your lobby screenshot.
Original-game lessons that still apply
The embedded video walks first-titan versus later-titan in the discontinued experience. Translate it like this:
- First titan = economy. Dummy Titan.
- Second purchase = the thing your lobby lacks (splash vs tank vs utility).
- Do not skip to the poster morph because a YouTuber main’d it in 2024.
- Badge timing beats collection. Playtester expires at Update #1; Clock Titan does not help if you never see Wave 25.
Musician titans were the other identity of the original (speaker-men energy). sebe’s Reborn shorts include Musician Strider and Musician Dummy Titan leaks. Those are hype, not a shop SKU. Track them on the roadmap instead of standing in lobby waiting.
How titans change the fight
Your hurtbox grows. Friendly fire adjacent ragdolls get worse. Awaken becomes a round event; wasting it is a wipe. Skill-tree nodes that added 2% Dummy punch may look tiny on a titan — still buy HP first, as the skill tree guide argues. Shiftlock remains mandatory; camera clipping inside a titan model is a known third-person problem, toggle to reset.
If a script offers “free all titans,” it is either a patched original-place unlocker or a bait. See working scripts and script safety. Reborn is a new universe. Old place-ID tools will not politely grant morphs.
When Screen and Clock actually appear, this page will split them into their own rows with playtest HP notes. Until then, the S-tier play is Dummy Titan plus a brain, not a screenshot of a morph you cannot buy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players ask during the playtest.
Which titan should I buy first in Reborn?
Dummy Titan, if it is in the shop. It is the grind vehicle. Save prestige morphs for later.
Is the embedded video from Reborn?
No. It is original Combat Noobs Siege Defense shopping advice. The budget order still applies.
Are Clock Titans in the playtest?
Not as a documented live SKU. Treat them as TBA until the shop or updates say otherwise.
Should I delay Wave 25 to buy a titan?
No. The Playtester badge is timed. A Heavy with cola beats an empty titan dream.
