CNSD Reborn How to use the starter pack
Sword, laser, Cola — the three items that keep a wipe from ending the run.
Community leaks for CNSD Reborn showed a starter pack that returns every time you spawn: a sword, a laser gun, and a Bloxy Cola. Cosmic’s sneak-peek recap called it a kit you get on every spawn so you are never empty-handed after a death. The playtest still does not print an item wiki in-game, so this page is the How-to-get / How-to-use note for those three tools. The embedded clip is a Reborn leak reel — short, official-adjacent footage, not a shop tutorial from the discontinued place.
If your session has no Cola and no laser, the build you loaded may have rolled the kit back. Rejoin once. If it is still gone, sebe disabled it for that publish. Do not farm a secret NPC. Check the updates hub after a shutdown.
What each piece is for
Sword. Melee sidearm. Your M1 string on Dummy is still the real punch kit (see controls). The sword is for when the four-hit chain is in recovery and a noob is already in your face. Do not swap to sword as a lifestyle. It is a panic stick.
Laser gun. Range. This is the item Laser Cannon Dummy mains wish they had on default Dummy. Use it on clustered backline noobs or a runner you cannot catch without wasting sprint. Do not laser through a Heavy’s spine. Friendly beams still look like grief in a 15-player server.
Bloxy Cola. Heal / panic button. Drink it when you are actually dying on a late wave, not after a lobby emote. The Wave 25 badge guide treats Cola as a resource you budget like Awaken. One Cola on Wave 4 is a throw. One Cola on Wave 22 while the choke is collapsing is the point of the item.
How you get it
You do not buy the starter pack. Leaks say it reappears on spawn. That means:
- Die or first-load into the siege.
- Check the hotbar / inventory before you sprint into the street.
- If the three items are there, do not drop them to look like a titan main.
- If they are missing, you are on a kit-less publish or you already consumed Cola this life.
There is no documented quest, badge, or code that grants a second Cola mid-life. When promo codes exist they might refill kits; until then the codes hub is empty on purpose. Scripts that promise infinite Cola are unlocker leftovers from the discontinued place. Script safety.
Spend order in a serious run
Wave 1–8: ignore Cola. Sword only if a grab already started. Laser only if a pack is stacked and you are kiting.
Wave 9–16: laser is legal. Cola is still insurance.
Wave 17–25: Cola is the difference between a badge and a requeue. Pair it with block, not with a greedy Awaken into a wall. How to Awaken.
After a death, the kit coming back is why Reborn deaths are less punishing than original CNSD morph wipes. You still lose lane presence. Get up, grab the three items, go back to the street that is not already lost.
What the pack is not
It is not a titan. It is not a skill-tree node. It is not a reason to stay on default Dummy forever. Spend coins on Heavy or Rocket Dummy using the starter rankings, then keep the pack as backup. A Heavy with Cola beats a broke Clock Titan dream during the Playtester window.
Musician and Screen classes may ship their own kits in Update #1. Until the roadmap moves those SKUs to live, assume sword / laser / Cola is the whole bag.
The leak video in the middle of this article is here because it is the clip that actually shows the three items on a table. It is not a 20-minute essay. Read this page, then go spawn.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players ask during the playtest.
Do I have to buy the starter pack?
No. Leaks say it returns on every spawn. If it is missing after a rejoin, that publish may have disabled it.
Should I drink Bloxy Cola in the lobby?
No. Save it for a late-wave panic. The Wave 25 guide budgets Cola like Awaken.
Does the laser replace Laser Cannon Dummy?
It is a sidearm, not a class. Buy the dummy if you want range as a job. See dummy class.
Will codes refill the pack?
No codes are confirmed. Bookmark codes. Do not run a refill script.
